pics of the house

Well, we went to the house again... it looked different for some reason..? Anyways, I did take pictures of the pink bathroom, and the rest of the house as well.... my realtor says it's pretty much in the bag... but i don't want to get any more attached more than I already am before it's official. If our offer is accepted.. not too sure how the inspection will pan out.... we pressed on the ceiling where the crack is and it moved up and down... we're thinking it may need to be replaced! (hubby said that he actually wants to keep the pink tile in the bathroom.. what the?!?!) Lol

Overall, the house looks pretty good! I definitely agree that the pink tile must go and the appliances in the kitchen definitely need replaced. Hopefully anything that pops out during the inspection can be dealt with quickly. Good luck!

looks nice!

I kinda like the pink bathroom. Wink

but the ceiling doesn't sound good. that's something you can work into closing costs if it's really bad.

I agree that the house overall looks good. The ceiling does not look great but hopefully you would be able to get the seller to take care of it. And WOW i agree with the out of date kitchen. Do they still work?

Yeah, I'm impressed with the vintage appliances still working... no appliance nowadays are made as well as they did in the past. That Peptobismal Pink in the bathroom is really rockin! Your DH should find it rather "relieving" Wink Hope they get the ceiling figured out... never heard of on moving before. Make sure you find out what caused it. Good luck!

I have no idea if they still work! The power is shut off. I guess we'll find out during the inspection. I highly doubt the seller will take care of the ceiling, it's a short sale and the bank doesn't want to do any repairs from my understanding.

The pink bathroom is interesting. I have to ask What is up with the tape and sign on the toilet?

the house has been vacant for like a year.. it's been winterized... no water or power is on.. it's to keep people from trying to use the potty or use the sink.

Ok, wow. That pink and black bathroom is something else!! LOL! I love the view from the balcony. I hope you get it and are able to get the ceiling fixed for reasonable!

Great pictures! I know what you mean about not wanting to get your hopes up too soon. I hope nothing huge jumps out in an inspection. If they aren't willing to fix things, maybe you can ask for a discount due to the money you will have to spend to repair them. The people who bought our house had a few repair requests and then asked some rediculously large discount for them. DH just fixed them himself and they were okay with that, but if we wanted a quick sale or didn't have the skills to fix them we would have knocked some $ off the price.

I love the hardwoods! The bathroom reminds me of our old house. We had one pink one and one yellow one - both "Easter Egg" colors, as DH put it. Straight out of the 50s. Smile So there are carpets in the kids' rooms? That's good for cold toes. Would you keep the existing carpet or change it later? Very nice pictures, TFS!

well I agree with the old appliances, as ell as PARTS of that bathroom but I think the tile rocks too. LOL! It would never be my first choice or anything but it's kinda neat Wink

It's so open and beautiful! Love the floorplan! As for the pink bathroom, that doesn't really bother me. Lol I might even keep it! As for the other stuff, hopefully you can get them to fix it as closing. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.
