Picture It

Does anyone else use this program for your scrapping? I swear, I am the only person in the world who has ever heard of it. DH bought it a long time ago b/c it was way cheaper than photoshop and does just about all of the same things (it's a microsoft program). Just thought I would ask...

Yep. I use the Microsoft Picture It Express. It was free, so it works for me! Wink

I just started using it when sadieruth and mommys recommended it to me Smile I found it on my computer and had never used it before. I find it very easy to use sice I am just starting out.....the only question I have is: How do you do your text, or do you have to use the downloaded fonts everytime? I am trying to insert a text box or something to make it easier? Any ideas???

I use it sometimes. I have had it for ages and it use to be the only thing I used but now I have photoshop and paint shop pro so I don't use it as much anymore. But it is a great program and your right, it does do most of the same stuff. But for some odd reason it runs really slow on my computer so it is just quicker to use the other stuff.

It's what I use for all of my digi pages and my card business. I have the 2002 version. I really love working with it, but for some reason it can take up to 10 minutes to save a file to jpg, which is strange.

I use my downloaded fonts in the text box most of the time. every once in a while, I use the image alphabets (where each letter is its own image), but that's a TON of work.

How do you do the text box? I have Picture It Express and I can't find a text box anywhere and I checked help and don't see it there either, any ideas......just wondering b/c, like you said, using each letter as it's own image is a lot of work!

UPDATE: I searched Google and found that I have version 2.0, which does not appear to have the text feature Sad

I have the 2000 version... sorry your 2.0 version doesn't have text box!

I really thought I was the only person who ever used this program b/c none of my friends IRL have ever heard of it!
