First, recently I realized that we have not been clear about mail for the exchanges. It is important that everyone knows that scrapping materials and cards cannot be sent "media mail". First, these materials do not qualify for media mail and second is that they don't arrive at their destination for almost 2 weeks in many cases. This can obviously cause problems with both our current exchanges. When you send envelopes for any of our exchanges (ie: scrap train or card swaps), please be sure you send them at least first class mail. Thanks!
Second, I wanted to warn everyone that exchange rules will be changing throughout P.O. very soon. The biggest change will be that each individual participating will not only have to have 300 posts through P.O. but the individual will have to have a designated number of posts on the board the exchange is taking place on. I believe it will be 50 posts on this board. The new guidelines are still being finalized, but I thought some advanced warning might be helpful for those who are newer to this board. As always, we do require, on this board, that members are currently active and posting on the board as well.
Thanks to all who read this!
Please don't think I'm aiming this at anyone in particular. We've had a couple card packages go astray now and I don't even know why, but it occured to me that we may need to be clear about this mail option not being an option (hopefully that makes sense).
For counting posts on a particular board, you go into the search option, type in your username and pick the board you are interested in on the dropdown menu. Do the search and up in the top right corn you will see a total on how many threads come up. That number is how many posts you've had on the board since the change over. I think it maxes out at 500.
Thanks for explaining that Stephanie! I didn't know how they were going to check on post # for a particular thread...sooooo, I tried it out and it stopped at 500 for mine. Guess I talk too much on here.
oh and I might mention you do this under advanced search. it took me a minute to figure that out.

Are the post per page requirements lower for boards that don't have as many new pages on them to post on?
I don't think I'll be able to participate any time soon
Just so you know, I checked and you already have 33 posts with this board, so you are doing fine
