Post your Shower Invites

Anyone who had homemade Baby Shower invites or has made them, I'd love to see what you've done. My SIL is due in January with their first baby, and as her husband (my brother) is the only sibling I have, and we are VERY close, I want to have REALLY special invites, etc, hence why I'm thinking about it already.

These were the invites for my baby shower for Robby...

And if you click on "back to baby projects," there are more ideas. (They are not all mine! I did the paint cans, the onesies, and the one with the blue handprint almost at the bottom was Robby's announcement. Oh, and the diaper favors.)

Have fun planning Smile

I did my own baby shower invites. I was on a budget at the time (still am) and had some extra hand made papers that I was going to NEVER use, so I used them for my invites, even though they really aren't "baby-ish" at ALL! I still really like them, they are all different and unique. All I paid for was the ivory cardstock and matching envelopes (and stamps).

Close up: I found the beginning rhyme on the web:

Uh, please don't call my mother in law! LMAO! (The email is incorrect! OOPS! My bad!)

Lol Too funny!

I didn't make my baby shower invites, and that's something I've not done before. Sorry, no help here. But the ones posted are adorable!

Shoot! I wish I had a picture. My old boss and I hosted a baby shower for a girl we work with. We only had to make about 15 so we used clear baby bottles (the cheapest ones at Walmart/Target with the colored tops). We printed on white paper all the details and cut it to fit inside the bottle so you could read it from the outside. We then filled the bottle with Skittles. We tied fun ribbon around the neck of the bottle. We didn't have to mail these though. They were the cutest things!

I'm curious for some ideas, too! I'm going to be making some in the next week or 2 for a baby shower I'm hosting with my MIL.

Thanks everyone.

Ashley, if I find any other ideas at other sites, I'll link them here for you.
