I know there's a lot of us. How are you all feeling? Have you been getting ready for little one? Any names picked out?
If you recently had your baby and aren't on the preggo list anymore...how is baby doing? How are you doing? Any pictures to share!?

yeah, Ashley, you can't start a thread like this without sharing your scoop. Can't wait to see the names you're thinking about.
I'm kinda sad not to be on the preggo list anymore ... mainly because Jack is my last, and I won't be on the "preggo list" ever again.
ok I changed it so it's for new moms, too!
I'm feeling great! I *think* I'm finally done with my morning throw up. As long as I eat a bowl of lucky charms I'm fine all day. I feel fine physically. I start to get a little sore at night after I get done working but thankfully I only work part time so I can handle that for now.
Baby is moving all the time, I love it. Dh has felt him/her from the outside too. We decided to keep the sex a surprise. If it's a boy he'll be Miles William and if it's a girl she'll be Violet Evalie.
Buying baby things is way too much fun. Our nursery is almost ready, we have the big things but don't have many of the little necessity things yet.
Oh, I love the names!!!! Okay, so not knowing what you're having, doesn't that make it harder to stock up on clothes and diapers? I love getting all of the gender specific stuff in advance, I can't imagine not knowing! But I'm also a control freak. Lucky Charms?! My kids love that stuff! (I don't buy it anymore though, that much sugar in the morning makes my 6 year old impossible to deal with).
Well, since you added new moms to the list, I'll give a quick update. Jack is doing well, had his 2 week check up today (he's 3 weeks tomorrow). In 17 days, he's gained 42 oz. Holy fattening breastmilk, Batman! I just posted a thread on the vaccine board, I'm struggling with what to do with his shots. And I was going to make those cards during naptime, but now I hear him waking up and I've spent the last 90 minutes online mostly reading about vaccines. Crap!!!! I can't make cards and hold him, and he likes to be held in the short time he's awake (and part of the time when he's asleep). Oh, and what else? I'm on meds for mastitis. Must be what I had because 3 doses later (gotta take it every 6 hours, crazy!) I'm feeling so much better. I felt like death yesterday, it sucked. First time I've gotten it, I've managed to fight it off in the past. Anyhow, happy to be feeling better. I'm going to go try to work on a card while Jack is still content in the crib ...
Hope to see more updates here!
I'll come over and hold him for you! How is he already 3 weeks old?
Sorry you're dealing with Mastitis. I've heard that is not fun. I hope it's gone...soon!
I've been stocking up on gender-neutral diapers. I don't mind too much, I figure I can use them for future kids then! After the mail comes tomorrow I should have 15 diapers to start with. I *might* buy a few more before baby comes but I want to see what I like the best and buy more of those when the time comes.
We loved the name Jack for our boy name but it sounds REALLY not ok with our last name. Think Jack-O-Lantern. Our last name is way too similar to Lantern. Maybe someday I'll just get over it and use it LOL
I'm with Ash: "How is Jack already 3 weeks old??!" Wow, he sounds like he's a breastfeeding champ. Great!! Sorry about the mastitis though. Ugh!
Ash, isn't it the best when you feel those kicks? Especially when Bill can feel them too. I loved laying in bed everynight and letting Scott feel Kayson kick. We were convinced he was going to be a soccer player. ha Glad to hear morning sickness is about over for you too. I LOVE THE NAMES you've picked out!!!!

First of all - Gwen! Congratulations on sweet baby Jack!!!!! I am so sorry about the mastitis. I live in constant fear of it because I get clogged milk ducts pretty often. My lactation consultant recommended that I take Lecithin, and the frequency of clogs has gone down considerably since then. I hope you're doing better soon.
Can I still be considered a "new mom" if my baby just turned 3 months?
I don't even know you if you remember me! I lurk on here when I can, but it's been quite an adjustment for me with having a baby, so I haven't scrapped at all since she was born. I did get to make a couple cards, though.
Anyway, here are some pictures of my little lady. She just turned 3 months old on July 29. She was 5 lbs. 12 oz. at birth, and at 3 months she is 10 lbs. 5 oz.! She's cooing and squealing like crazy, and loves to smile.
Sera! She is soooo cute! Thanks for sharing, and of course we remember you. Yes, being a new mom can take quite a bit of adjusting to.
