Presidents Day + Not feeling so well = lots of time to create!

DH stayed home today because I was (am) not feeling well at all. Sad But it does have a plus side to feeling sick. I got LOTS of cards done! Smile Bear with me here. These are posted in the order that I like them best. The pics aren't the greatest because I didn't want to wait until tomorrow...it's our anniversary and I've got a lot of catering jobs through Wednesday, so I knew I wouldn't get time to take pics outside.

house card and everything cut with Wild Card. I made TWO of these and they took quite a bit of time due to all the different cuts, but I love them. "congratulations" was stamped with a set a friend just gave me.

The carriage (love!) and saying from Graphically Speaking.

Well, you've already seen these, but I thought I'd post them anyways. the saying is from Wild Card

heart is from George, thanks is from DonJuan

This was just a silly card I was playing with to give to DH for our anniversary tomorrow. Saw that monster cut on Wild Card and had to give it a try. Smile LOL

And the following two I'm not real proud of, but I needed a sympathy today for a friend who just lost her brother yesterday and I made the thank you note from leftovers I've had for a while:

I love them ALL Im not even sure why you dont like the last two! I think they're beautiful! That monster card is WAY too cute! I just love it!

Did you have to cut each individual color for the house in the WHOLE card? Or just part of it? What did you use for the door knob?

Okay so Ive been looking for that deer in the cricut stuff...does it come in one of the carts?

I SOOO need more cricut carts Wink

Actually, the house was one cut, and they had a different cut for just the roof, the door, the bushes (had to cut each of those twice to get the brown and green though), etc. so it wasn't too bad. Just more time consuming that I usually spend on a card. The door knob is a brad. Smile The deer is an acrylic stamp I got in a "Friendly Forest" set. I'd love for a fawn to be in a Cricut cart....maybe there is one and I'm just not aware?! Thank you Zene!

So you stamp the deer and then cut it out??? I thought for sure it was on a cricut cart!! Smile

Those are all soooo great. I love the black and blue colors together and the colors of the sympathy card really caught my eye. TFS your awesome work with us!!

Very nice! I actually really like the two you're not crazy about. Smile I think my fave is the teal/black/white thank you. That house turned out super cute - worth the time for sure!

wow, you really have been busy! when I'm not feeling well, the last thing I think of is making cards. Wink (of course, my family doesn't give me a break when I'm not feeling well, so that's a factor too). Hope you're feeling better.

I don't know why you don't love those last two, I think they're great!!!!! I really do. Love that thank you card, putting it in my lift folder. And the baby cards are great, I totally need to explore that cartridge more. The congratulations card rocks!

Happy anniversary!

I'm sorry you are not feeling well. You've done an amazing job with the cards. Where do you get all of your lovely paper? Do you buy single sheets or packs? Also, I can't get over the sympathy card. I love the colors you chose. Did you use ink or chalk on the edges?

Yes, I stamped the deer on white cardstock, then just cut it out.

I haven't sold any cards in a while. I'm thinking of re-listing some soon, but I'd rather try and find some place local that will allow me to display them and sell them.

Most of the paper I get is still from that one paper pack I got ages ago from COSTCO. (like all the paper on the sympathy card is from that pack) I used orange chalk on the edges. I'm a huge fan of chalk! For those of you that don't have any, it's worth spending $5 for a little pack of them!

1. Hope you feel better
2. Happy Anniversary
3. I think they all look great. I love the peachy-orange color on the last one. I need to use my chalks more. The monster is a fun looking card too.

That carriage is too stinking cute! What cart is it from??? Hopefully Wild Card! Biggrin I think your sympathy card is perfect. Those are the hardest to make for me b/c I feel like they need to be simple if you know what I mean.

I can't pick a favorite but I love the color of the sympathy. I think I may have to get some chalk and learn.
