    Default question

Hi Ladies! My DH has decided to let me buy a cricut, Walmart has some great prices on both of them! But my question is...once I buy there anything that will need replacing frequently?? and how much is it going to cost to replace it? i know I will need to replace the blade...but how often? Is there anything I will need to replace that will be costly? Thanks in Advance!

So much better than any toy mom could buy me!

I think just the blade and the cutting mat. Neither of those are very expensive to replace. Cricut actually advocates having 2 or more mats and rotating them to extend the life of them overall.

Personally, I have had my Cricut for a little over a year now and just replaced the blade and am just now needing a new mat. But, it depends on how often you use it and what kind of paper you are cutting with it. For example if you are cutting heavy cardstock a lot, then your blade will wear out sooner.

Hope that helps and happy Cricut'ing!!!
