Question about sales

I'm wondering if any of you ladies sell your projects at craft fairs and the like- even online. I am hoping to start a side business, and sell my scrapbook and card creations at craft fairs, online, etc. I've signed up for my first fair in late Sept, and I'm looking for advice. Like, what have you found to be too high of a price, what sells the best, plain layouts or intricate ones? What about just completed pages instead of entire completed books? Just looking for any insight you might have. I'm hoping for this first show just to have a good variety and see what my area likes, but I'd really like to turn this into a good part time income within the next year, (allowing me to drop down to part time work outside the home) so I'd appreciate anything you can offer, including other crafty ideas that sell well TIA!

I am not very experienced with this but my mom used to sell stuff at craft fairs all the time when I was little. I remember the biggest sellers by a large margin were small inexpensive items. You get (hopefully) a few people interested in larger things too but for the most part people at fairs like picking up lots of things from all over and for that you need some smaller ticket items.

Thanks! I've heard that, too, so I'm going to concentrate on some finished pages, as well as some birth announcements, wedding announcements, invitations, etc., too, that I can sell pretty cheap.

I've sold completed pages, and haven't had much luck with actual books. You can also sell completed small stuff, like cut out frames, matting and shapes etc. My best seller was a dog page I made tons of and sold for charity at a dog adoption event.
