I want to make photo birthday invites for my son's birthday using pictures from his newborn, 3mo, 6mo, 9mo photo shoot along with one big one when he gets closer to 11 months old. I really don't want to use photoshop because it just seems very confusing, plus what I have seen done from photoshop is not what i want. I would much rather just use a digiscrapping program. My question is, Can I download one online? which one would u recommend? I have no clue about digiscrapping so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated? Thanks!
Has anyone tried the free program that is listed in the sticky thread? I know there were a few ladies who used it previously, but I don't think they post here anymore. Anyway, that is a free program and can be downloaded. There are other programs available online as well, I would have to google it.
Have you thought about what colors you want, etc? Do you ahve something specific in mind already?
I found this great little review chart online of the top 10 digital scrapbooking programs:
wow! thanks! I think I want to go with a lighter green and blue in color...not quite sure yet. Maybe i will just go with black and white with some splashes of color because i want to use his photo i will take at 11 months as b&w..I just wanted to play around until I knew what I wanted.
The good thing about the good scrapbooking programs like scrapbook factory is that they come with a decent selection of art. Photo editors like Photoshop require more searching on the web to find the freebies. There are tons of freebies online, but it is one more step that you might be able to avoid if you wanted to.
