question for those who dig scrap

do you actually print your pages and don't you "miss" the texture and 3D*ness* of paper scrapping?

just curious Smile

i have printed some... since i don't really do paper scrapping i can't say that i miss to much of the 3-d-ness Wink but if you add embellishments, raise the pictures, textures, etc. the pages should still look good!! Smile

I've thought about that. I haven't printed any yet, but I plan on picking my favorites when Madelyn's a year old, and having them printed for her. I'd like to do one each year, even. I'm sure I'll miss the texture and what not, but it'll also be nice to be able to flip through a book of her without worrying that she's going to pull off a button or ribbon. lol

There are trade-offs, yes. I don't really miss the bulkiness of the paper, but I do miss the look a little. I still prefer digital though, especially when printed in a book.

I was just thinking it might be nice to create a hybrid album by having the pages printed then adding a few raised elements to each page. Make sense? It would just be a fun change.

I thought about doing that, too, Stephanie. If you do it, let us know how it works out!

I was thinking of that as well. Let us know if you try it. I would love to hear and see how it turns out.
