QUESTION: What do you do with your extra pictures

I'm talking about the ones that you don't end up using in a layout for a certain event. Do you keep them? If so, where/how? Do you toss them?

Same here. But as for my printed pictures, I will probably end up putting my "extras" in a regular photo album or something like that.

I'm a goof. All my pictures are taken digitally and I back them up on CD so I have all of them. Why do I need to keep the extra printed ones? Smile

The extra printed ones I give to DD for her scrap book. Or I put them in a photo album for them to play with without me worryin about them messing them up. I always print a few extras for her anyway, but she can buzz through a page in 5 mintues in her 6 year old rushing LOL. I should post some of her work. It's messy and darling at the same time haha.

lol, good question. Sometimes I have more than I need printed because I think I'll end up using them all, and then don't. :dontknow:

I keep them all in a box. I love to just sit back and look at pictures.

All mine are digi too so they are all saved on an external hard drive.

I have a photo album for each kiddo, and the extras go in their books. in the future, they can use them for whatever they want - school projects, their own scrapbooks, just for fun. I also have a family album that I put some in also, along with doubles that well meaning relatives send me that I don't ever plan to scrapbook.

I have all my pics saved on my hard drive and then backed up - and I've been doing digital scrapbooking with them.

I was giving this some thought, though... I was thinking of 'maybe' doing something different with the scrapbook when I have the pages printed. If I use a spiral or some sort of book like that that allows you to rearrange and add things - I was considering putting in some sort of storage for the extra pics - so they'd be near the page that the others were used on. So - either a big envelope at the front of the scrapbook, or else an insert that you would see in a photo album - but it can be between some of the scrapbook pages with some of the extras. I don't know - I can't visualize it yet...
