quick hi!

Hi ladies! I apologize for being MIA lately...we can't get on at work anymore Sad (which is understandable but that was the only time I was able to check boards on the days I work) Hopefully I can catch up with what you creative ladies have been up to when I am not working (Friday-Monday). I am popping in to ask some advice on a scrapbook page, though, too. Our MOPS group makes a scrapbook for "Graduating" moms. If we want, we can each contribute a page or something to go on a page. Since I scrap, I want to make a whole page. Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of this mom to include, but she was in my group (we sit at the same table in meetings) and is super nice. So, does anyone have any good mom quotes or bible verses? I planned on writing something nice to her, thanking her for her sage advice, kind words, etc. to be the main part of the page, but I wanted to have some quotes and verses scattered about the page, as well as some embellishments and/or cricut cuts that work with the theme, etc. Any ideas or input are welcome! Thanks, and hopefully I can catch up with this busy board this long weekend. Have a great Easter, for those that celebrate it!

Hey Lauren! I am sorry you can't log on during work anymore. We've missed ya! I dread that about starting my new job too. Wink

Doesn't it suck when work gets in the way? Smile

Here are some of my favorite mom quotes (I've been collecting them, hoping Bethany will do some of them lol)

As long as there are mothers there will be love in the world.

Every Mother is a "Working Mother".

A Mothers Poem:
I will not have a temper tantrum nor stomp across the floor.
I will not pout, scream or shout or kick against the door.
I will not throw my food around nor pick upon another.
I'll always try to be real good because I am the mother.

Marvelous
Original
True blue
Heaven sent
Encouraging
Ray of sunshine

HTH!

I am no good at quotes. I usually just search online. It's very sweet of you to do that for her though.

I am sorry you can't get on as often. We will miss you.

I am using this one...it was on the page that Charys linked too. I saved some faves yesterday and then narrowed it down today to that one, "one good mother is worth a hundred schoolmasters" (she home schools her kids so I thought that was a good quote for her), and "the formative period for building character is in the nursery. The mother is queen of that realm and sways a scepter more potent than that of kings or priests" (since our group is for moms of babies/preschoolers) Thanks for the help ladies!
