Default really? in the middle of the day???? (OT dh rant)

UGH!!! ok so i'm out with Eli and the little boy I watch having lunch with my mom. dh stayed home because he's sick. i thought he would lay in bed all dy like he does when he is sick. well i come home and he SHAMPOOED THE CARPETS!!! at 1 in the afternoon!! what the heck???? WHERE are the boys supposed to play at?

UGH! i feel bad but whenever he stays home from work, it just messes up my whole day! i just get in zones where i have a list of things that need to get done and i hate it when that gets interupted. and he hasn't realized when i'm in those zones and then he tries to just chit chat with me and wonders why i'm not giving big long answers. it's because i've got a million other things to do. Just becxause he stays home from work doesn't mean my work stops!

    ok i'm done.

oh man, if my hubby shampooed my carpets, I would be thrilled! No matter what time of day!! LOL!! Can you bring the boys to a park or something while it dries? Just a thought?

the boys are taking a nap right now, luckily, but it's POORING here, so not the best thing to do.

I'm irritated because we had talked about when we would do them. and that would give me enough time to clean up. but he wanted to be the first one to use it and he took advantage of the opportunity while i was away so i wouldn't say anything. I'm not surprised that he did it, but i do get irritated with his timing, it's very much around his schedule and not the family's schedule.

I could care less if andy cleaned, he's REALLY good at doing the laundry it's just his timing that is off lol

I think that this is mostly my problem and i need to thank him for even doing it. I know he was trying to do something nice, but i had a schedule of what i was going to do dang it! lol this is just God teaching me patience!

I totally understand about it messing up your schedule with DH is home...and it is a pain that you don't know what to do with the boys since the carpets are wet...but at least him staying home and messing up your schedule involves him cleaning something and not just messing up your schedule and doing nothing! LOL!

Well I can understand the timing thing for sure!! Aren't all guys timing off from ours'??? It's so irritating when you have something planned for a certain time and it gets thrown off.

Oh my, if my dh did that I would be thrilled. It doesn't really make sense that he did in during the day with little ones who need to play in that room. Oh well, it'll dry soon. It was very thoughtful of him

Yes, i am thankful that he did it. I'm a little jealous he got to use it first (we just bought it with our tax money) and he kept saying it was for me because it's my job lol (women's work as he says)
