please show me or tell me about yours. Mine is all dropped into three sterilite drawers and I hate it. I never remember what I have and have to dig through it all to find anything.
someone on here posted about turning old glass babyfood jars into ribbon storage...or you can use a Mason jar. You punch holes in the lid and then set eyelets in the holes, then feed the ribbon through. So ribbon sticks out from the lid and the length of ribbon is down in the jar when you put the lid on.
I did this with a mason jar...and I also did it with these little mini containers that are meant to hold spices. I will try to take a pic at some point later. Right now, target has some of these little containers in their cheap section...they are in packs of 4 for $2.50. I just bought a set. The original ones I did were supposed to be a magnetic spice thing that someone gave my mom...and I turned them into ribbon holders. Pics are a must, since this doesn't make much sense. I will get them later this evening
I love Kelly's jars. right now mine are all in a basket. :/

i did what Kelly did but with a larger jar...and then with the spice things that look like this http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/asse...506106907C.JPG I mounted the holder on the wall in my scrap area right above my desk, but I did it horizontally not vertically.
IN the large mason jar I have 6 holes for ribbon, and in the spice rack containers I have 4 holes for ribbon in each container
I have a couple of the jars and I also bought one of these: http://www.orientaltrading.com/ui/br...on+Storage+Bag
I still haven't put all my ribbon in there though. I was thinking of having Dh rig up one of those shelves with a dowel. Cause I like my full rolls to stay that way and then I put the shorter cut-offs in the bag.
