Scrapbook LO in a picture frame?

Hello, everyone! Biggrin

I'm trying to decorate DS's nursery. In the past, I've seen people scrap a page, and then stick it into a picture frame as a wall decoration type thing. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I would love to do this for the nursery, but I have no idea where to start. Are there any websites that have tips or design ideas? Or do any of you have any suggestions for me? Thank you so much! Biggrin

Do you scrap already? If you do, then I would just take and do a page of your son's baby pics and use that. My girlfriend decorated her son's nursery in scrapbook pages and it turned out great!! She bought some inexpensice 12x12 frames made just for 12x12 scrapbook paper. Then she took his hospital pictures and scrapped a page of them with his name. I don't know if that's any help, but you're more than welcome to scroll through some of the pages on here and get ideas.

I've done this as gifts several times. If you scrapbook already, it is really the same thing except I try and keep the journaling (writing) to a minimum.

I made this one as part of a gift exchange we did on our Jan board. I sent it to her in a frame and had photo splits for her to put the pictures of choice in the mats for them.

Oh, this is great info - thanks ladies! I do scrapbook already (though not very well!), so I'm glad to hear that it's pretty much the same thing. For some reason I was thinking it might take more work, materials, etc.
Gwen, that's gorgeous! I bet your recipient loved her gift! Biggrin TFS!

I'm a creative memories consultant and they have this limited ed. frame that ends July 31. but its magnetic so you can switch it out. i think its a great idea if you wanted to keep updated pics in it, or switch your favorite LO's in it. its fabulous, it comes in white and black, its 18x18

if you want to go digi, you can find some really cute quickpage albums to scrap with. they make scrapping a breeze and if you do more than one page, they'll coordinate Smile heres just a few I found...

also.... I've been wanting to frame this layout and put it in my son's room when we're done unpacking at our new place, just an idea for a new baby layout, sort of like a birth announcement page

I made this while pregnant with Cameron and it hangs on his wall now! Smile

I also altered these wooden letters to hang up:
