Default Scrapping with a two year old

I left all my scrap stuff out after nap time. This is the result of what happened.

yikes! My DS has decided that he likes to open the drawers on my rolling drawer tower and pull out my paper. He ruined a partial sheet of one so I left him ball it up and play with it for a while...until today when he started eating it!

Been there done that. But he hates having his hands get dirty. My child will never take up finger painting. As soon as the ink got on his hands he came to me to get them washed.

Yes thankfully he has only found my scrapping scissors thus far and he can't figure out how to use them for the life of him. I'm not looking forward to that day and having even more paper scraps laying around that I didn't cut.

Oh man... the ink would have been bad especially all over the floor

DD doesn't like to get her hands dirty either. I tried to show her finger painting once and she dipped one finger in paint and painted on the paper and then right away asked me to clean up her finger. LOL and didn't dip it back in there again. Instead used a brush i had given her BUT BOY does she love to DRAW on her FACE with a PEN!
