I am not really thrilled with any of these I made last night, but I'm just happy that I was able to get ALL this done in just a couple hours. I really needed lots of thank you notes and wanted to create a mini-album from our Christmas pics. Don't have the time right now to scrap them into big layouts. I HAVE to start on my birth announcements and thank you notes, so I prioritized. LOL
I made a lot of these...how simple is that? But DH actually loved them. LOL He says they remind him of the "Life is Good" shirts.
and a close-up
The bicycycle is from Stretch Your Imagination. The dog and cat are from Paper Pups. I just printed the "thank you" onto cardstock first.
after cutting this out (from A Child's Year) it kindof looked spooky to me. What do you think? Obviously I didn't put any time into it, so if it looks spooky to you too, I may just re-do it. What can I add?
"thank you" is from Sweethearts, flourish is Home Decor.
And a quick one-hour mini.....

I LOVE the simple cards!!!!!!! really, I think they're awesome. I'm with DH on that. the other cards look great too. and I ADORE the mini Christmas book!!!!!!
(hey, I keep forgetting to email you - those fleece longies I made Jack don't fit him. do you want them for Cohen? they'd probably fit him at about 10 months or so. that's assuming you're doing cloth diapers again)

I love the simple thank you cards! I think they're perfect. Hmmm...on your "spooky" card maybe you could add some stickles!?
I love the simple cards, there is a lot to be said for the less-is-more thing.
With the spooky card I would possibly redo the silhouette in a medium color blue that is dark enough to still pop from the background but not as stark as the black. Stickles would also soften it up.

Expecting #3 forChristmas!!!
lovely work as always!! i was thinking on the silhouette one maybe you could put the heart in red or something? Just as idea. I don't think it looks spooky though
Loving that mini album...I can't believe you guys can scrap such little pages and books...I think if they did bigger than 12 x 12 inch I would even use those! LOL
Oh my... I agree with everyone else... the simple thank yours are spectacular! It would go against my grain to do something that simple, and yet I think they are all the better BECAUSE of their simplicity. Nice job!
And how cute is that mini album? It's done, and adorable so great job!
Good luck getting started on your birth announcements. I haven't even started and now I'm to the point that I don't know if I'll be able to swing making my own or not.
I like the simple ones but also LOVE the red/black circles on the Kraft paper.
Daughter Rileigh Ann arriving January 2012
Ah, thank you all! I've just finished another set of the simple thank yous with snowman on them, but will probably not get a picture of them before I mail them at work tomorrow.
Gwen, I'd love the soaker!! Can I send you some $$? PLEASE? We are going to CD at home and use disposables when we are out. It worked so well with Kayson doing that, so we want to do it again with Cohen. Thanks!
