In like FOREVER!! Here are some thank you cards I made for my teacher friends at preschool. I made two for each of them, and a bag of fudge.
The fudge I made. And the cookies for my cookie exchange!
Yummmmm! You could always send some of that fudge this way. hehe!
Beautiful cards! That's very sweet of you! I really love the 5th one with the pink!

Beautiful cards. Does the ribbon wrap all the way around the cards? Love those colors. And yes, the food looks great.

the ribbon just ties them onto the fudge bags, it is cute on them though. I didnt figure that out till the end
I made about 9 dozen or so of the big soft sugar cookies. They're not the cardboard tasting type that cut out but this is a GOOD recipe and I add almond extract.
Here's the recipe! Its a good one!
350 8-10 mins
4 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp b. Soda
1 tsp b. powder
1 tsp salt
Add 1 cup butter, cut into flour with pastry cutter till size of peas.
Break 1 egg into a one cup measuring cup, fill to top with heavy cream (I use egg nog if I dont have cream). Add 2 tsp vanilla, 2 tsp almond extract, and/or 1-2 tsp imitation rum extract. I say the more flavor the better
Mix well! Add more flour and/or sugar as needed for consistency.
Roll out to 1/4 or so thick and cut out.
Bake at 350 till only VERY LIGHT brown or till firm I usually do 9 in my oven and they turn out perfect.
This recipe is from a mom where I did my internship. She made the most wonderful sugar cookies I ever had for a St. Patrick's Day party. I asked for the recipe as a parting gift She included this in a farewell card, along with a few cookies.
