Sizzix Alphabars? (and an intro)

I'm finding the Sizzix Alphabars on clearance online ... do any of you have it? Would you recommend it? I have a complete regular Sizzix font, three Sizzlets (what a pain!), and several shapes dies. I just wasn't sure if I should splurge on these. I like the fonts though.

This is the one I'm looking at:

BTW, I'm new on this board. I used to frequent the SB board here back in the day (we're talking a few years ago). It really slowed down, so I haven't been back in ages. But I promise to come back when I have a little bit more time (girls are eating dinner now then we're off to AC Moore to buy some supplies for a crop night tomorrow). I look forward to seeing what everyone is doing and sharing my work.

Oh, and since you don't know me, I'm Gwen, a SAHM to three kiddos - Andrew (5.5), Jordan (2+weeks until she's 4) and Natalie (16 months). I've been scrapbooking for 5 years now, and am still struggling to catch up on past years. I'm up to 2004. Lol

Yes, get the sizzix if you can afford it!! It's a good system from what I know of it. I don't have any of it yet, but am saving up my money so I can, I just need to stop buying other stuff first.

Hi! Glad you're joining us. I can't wait to see some of your projects (and pictures of the kiddos of course!)

As for the Sizzix, I researched it to find out what it was... and if I could afford it, I'd definitely get one! I don't have any personal experience with them, though. I did use a similar thing once at a scrap night type deal (only it was huge) and I loved it!

well, I have the Sizzix already ... been collecting it and some of the fonts with birthday money the past couple of years. Wink I just wasn't sure about the whole alphabar thing.

Cropping at my LSS tomorrow, will see if they have it there so I can see it in person.

Hi Gwen & Welcome. I have a sizzix, and I have one alphabar set. I still have not used it. I have a couple of fonts that I do use alot, my favorite is Shadow Box. I like the set that you are looking at too, and I was wondering if it was worth getting it also. Let me know if you like it from the scrap.
