Default Some layouts and a card...sheesh, it's been a while!

Ok, I'm rather embarrassed at how simple Cohen's layouts are. I did these all the night before his first birthday. Why I rushed makes no sense to me...it's not like I got his whole album done anyways right? LOL. It's barely done up to 6 months. Poor 2nd child. hahaha. The good thing is I'm STILL working on it with my goal of completion being March 30th. We'll see. I figure if his first album is done within the month after his 1st birthday I'm not THAT bad of a mother right?! hahaha
Anyways, bear with these crazy, simple layouts.

    SIX MONTHS:

This layout took a long time...I welded all the words with my Gypsy, which took longer than I was thinking....then cutting and pasting. Whew. Simple but it was time-consuming.

And I don't even know WHY I'm posting this, but we took pics of Cohen at each month with his green teddy bear. It's still missing the "finishing" 12-month half, but here is the first part BTW, I hate this layout. Oh well:

Well, I really like Cohen's first layout up there on top. It turned out great. And, I'm very impressed with all the font on the second page set. That is a lot of work. I can understand being in a rush when you feel like you are behind. I've been like that lately.

The coffee layout made me laugh and I love that it includes all of you.

I'm sorry you don't like the teddy bear layout. I remember the 12-month layout you did of Kayson (because I scraplifted it and it hangs on my living-room wall).

Beautiful simple LOs girl! Love them as usual. So I have to ask, does your whole family go to Starbucks? We LOVE coffee here, and I got a gift card for x-mas, but have NEVER been there. I need to go, but wouldn't even know the first thing to order. LOL Love the pics....TFS

Yay! I love seeing your work!

I LOVE that first page of Cohen - the colors, grouping of stars, the PHOTOS, so cute!! It must have taken forever to do all that journaling! WOW. It looks like it was well worth it though.

Carrie, you should check out their menu online before you go, then you can have an idea. I have never been there either. http://www.starbucks.com/menu/catalo...trol=nutrition

LOL, yes, my whole family is addicted to coffee. Terribly addicted. I don't ever drink sodas and live (thank God!) 90 miles from the closest Starbucks, so I figure the splurge when we do go to San Angelo is well-worth it. I will go there on my way into town and on the way out. Hmmm, for your first time going I don't know what to suggest trying, but I loooove their Cinnamon Dulce Latte. Or a White Chocolate Mocha. Or a Green Tea Lemonade. hahah

Carrie-My downfall is starbucks. I have them everywhere where I live. If you like Mocha try a white/chocolate mocha (also called swiss or zebra mocha) with whip and carmel drizzle on top. It is soooo good.

Love the first LO Charys. Sometimes simple is best.

I love starbucks too but only go in summer because I don't like coffee. I love their Caramel Cream Frappacino. It is made with Cream and absolutely no coffee. It is great for kiddos Just lots of sugar probably.

if it makes you feel better, I'm now more than a year behind in scrapbooking. it's so depressing.

I love Cohen's face on the page on the right of the six month layout - that's just too cute! and the colors are so vibrant on the page.

the welded words are so cool!!!!!

and I totally love the coffee layout, that's adorable! I love how you matted just some things on the page, and how you angled the smaller patterned paper. the title is cool too - which did you use?

I always struggled with my 12 month layouts with the critters. I was always second guessing myself. I can't believe you fit it all on one page! I could never do that. I know you say it's missing half, I mean just fitting that many on one page is a lot. I think it came out great! I think I recognize what he's wearing in the 8 month layout, do I?

    I LOVE the beautiful card.

I'm so glad to see more from you, and I love seeing so much of Cohen!
