so i have some questions for u ladies.... since i've been on an altering items kick lately
1- when u alter things like cds, coasters and clocks etc and include pictures on them. do u usually print them in really good quality on regular paper and modge podge over them or do u mat them almost like u do in scrapping and an album?
here are some examples:
2. what could i use to punch holes in cds (etc) to make a cd album?
thanks ladies for any help/feedback in advance.
Whenever I've altered an item, I just mat like I would normally do for scrapbooking. But I've seen some of the projects with Modge Podge and I think they turn out great. The altered tins, etc. would be better than way in my opinion. I just haven't purchased any yet. (keep meaning to do so) So I guess it depends on what you're altering. Mini-albums are fine just matting.
As for how to punch holes, I wonder if a regular hole punch would work? I've never punched holes through CD's, but maybe the other's could help.

#2... never tried a regular hole punch, but the cropadile will work
my ticker was taking up too much space, so: Robby-Apr06, Johnathan & Matthew-Mar08... you do the math. LOL
baby updates (and stampin') here: www.stampwithlorita.com
I've done both...modge podge over photos and sometimes not. Just depends on the look I'm after.
As to the whole punch...the cropadile will do anything! LOL
I agree about the cropadile. I used it to punch holes in galvanized tin buckets for centerpieces for a friend's bridal shower, so I am sure it will do CDs.
I have never done an altered project, but I was considering picking up some modge podge (or borrowing MIL's) to make DS a colors or alphabet book.
