mine was this doll in the 80s called "My Real Baby" because, for the time, it looked quite real ....compared to dolls you can get nowadays though it's awfully fake looking. lol

One toy that stands out in my mind, was my Easy Bake Oven. I used to use that thing all the time to make yummy snacks.

My gram watched me when I was little and I always played with this Bearanstien bear "doll" house and the OLD little people house with mc donalds toys and such. That BB house was so cool cause it was like a tree house with a hammock, and cool stuff like that Wink I didnt so much play with TOYS per say...I spent alot of time cooking with my gram, going on walks, shopping, and spending time with her. I was an only child till I was 9 and even then I went to my grams by myself while my bro went to a baby sitter's (I was painfully shy and had nervous breakdowns going to a sitter Sad ) so I didnt really PLAY a whole lot. maybe thats why Im a preschool teacher Wink I have to do it now as a big person cause I never did it as a little person Lol

Okay... for a real toy... the only doll I ever liked, I named Jessie and slept with every night until I was married. My older daughter now sleeps with her.

My ultimate favorite though was our Apple 2E computer. We were the ONLY one on the block with a computer, but that's not why I liked it. Lemonade stand, anyone?

Do books count as toys? By the mid-elementary ages I was constantly with a book. Or outside playing.

Oh, I did play with my brothers Hot Wheels track a lot. Wink My dad worked as a mechanic at a factory and brought home a big box of ball bearings. We had a split level house, so I ran the track down one set of stairs, around the corner, and down the next set of stairs. I would race the ball bearings down the track and into a paper bag at the end. It made such a great ruckus!

And I grew up when Cabbage Patch kids were all the rage. So when I was little (Kindergarten age) I was inseparable from my Cabbage Patch.

When I think back the only thing I can think of was either my doll, Crystal Dawn or my barbies.

My bike. We went everywhere on them. I had 2 older brothers, and one older cousin that rode with me. We had so much fun!

I had a fisher price record player and a lot of stories to go with it. I was really disapointed when those records disapeared years ago.

Wow, mine was a toss up between my Cabbage Patch Kids and my Barbies. I use to "teach" my CPK's all the time and I even had enough for a classroom, lol.

I was a tomboy of sorts so I really didn't do much with dolls. My all time favorite toy was my big wheel! We used to have a big hill on our street and I would climb that thing over and over and fly back down it! Smile

Anyone remember My Doll. That was my favorite. You could get them so they looked similar to you. I had one with brown hair and blue eyes just like me, and she had on this blue dress with a blue diaper cover. I love that doll. I called her Karen, cause anything that rhymed with "erin" was super cool name.
