Sweethearts cards...my new fave cartridge. :)

More cards....I just love how fun the Sweethearts cartridge is. I wish Cricut would come out with more of this style. Smile I made these two last night and love how they turned out.

main image, hearts and greeting are from Sweethearts, chandelier is Home Decor, little coffee mugs (which I'm so proud of...lol...) are from Christmas Cheer, butterflies are Hannah Montana.

this one is really similar to the one I made the other day, but I couldn't resist how fun it is. Smile flourishes are home decor, main image and greeting are from Sweethearts, old "postcards" are from that same scrap of paper I used on the last card.

oh and I made this one too last night for a little girl's birthday. I'm not as pleased with it, but I think she'll like it.

poodle and greeting are from Paper Pups, tree is Sweethearts (used layers to create dimension), and scallops are Accent Essentials.

are the backgrounds for the first two two different papers to make the wall/sky and floor/ground? I would still be sitting there deciding what colour to make the wall on the first one lol I am VERY impressed, love them all. The poodle is very cute, I bet she loves it.

These cricut things sound great, though I still have trouble reading it as "cricket" and not "cry-cut" english just isn't english it seems.

Wow Charys!! I am just speechless!!! I really wish you could do a video showing how you make a card like this, particularly the first two. I mean it looks like it takes hours...how on earth do you get those little pink shoes lined up right? It seems like you have to take carts out and add different paper like a jillion times!!! LOL I soooo love them! Anyone who gets a card from you is a lucky person!! They are so amazing!!

Those cards are amazing. It makes me realize that if i had a Cricut I would be able to do so much more than I already am. You are one talented lady.

yes, I used Basic Gray papers for the backgrounds of both cards. They are so rich and pretty. My friend had bought me a pack a while back when they clearanced them at Michael's. I've been using them sparingly.

Really, they do take time, but certainly not hours. I don't think I could spend hours on any card. It's not worth it to me. Maybe during the crop I'll get a video posted. The best tip is loading your mat with all the colors of paper scraps that you are going to use for your card and just cutting them without ever having to remove the mat. As for lining everything up, I don't have to do that, because it cuts all the individual pieces and I just lay them over the original piece. Does that make sense?

Your cards are amazing!!! I love the colors you picked for the wall and floor on the anniversery card and that post card paper is perfect!!! I really thought on the old card that you had added your own real postcard:) For the poodle card I love it but I think a rhinestone leash would just make it pop!

Ditto. 100%.

You should sell them. Seriously, you'd be a millionaire. They're all wonderful!

I ditto everything Carrie said! I really like my cricut, but I'm not very patient and just use it for quick cuts. Maybe I just need to play w/it awhile and get used to it. I remember when you showed us how you put your paper on the mat...but how do you know what's going to cut first so where to put the pink for the pink shirt, etc, kwim?
