Technique Challenge -Alphas- Deadline May 8th

For our next technique challenge I thought it would be fun to play with alphas! The challenge is to use at least 3 different alphas on your page. Use them anyway you want. I am really in love with alphas these days so I cannot wait to see what you guys come up with! Deadline is May 8th. And as always don't forget to take off your siggies.

(I hope we didn't have a challenge already about alphas...if we did let me know and I can think of another one)

Sorry to be an idiot Kelly, but I'd love to know what an Alpha is. Lol No idea, and googling it gets me nowhere real fast! Smile

girlfriend I have been scrapping since 97 and I had no clue either LOL! I am still confused lol so just use 3 different type of alphabet letters, stickers, or cardstock?????? Is that right?

Different fonts.....that is what i'm assuming.

Yes, I believe she means three different fonts. They can all be the same color or different colors...same size or different sizes, as long as you mix up and use atleast three different fonts.
BTW, FUN challenge! Wink

In digital scrapping, alphas are similar to alphabet stickers in that they are predesigned rather than just a straight font. It would be similar to using 3 different cricut cartidges for your letters. For those using paper, I would think that 3 different types of lettering (whether stickers, printed, cricuts cuts, etc.) would be fine.

That is exactly what I was thinking. To use three different alphabets. It can be three different circuit cuts, or a circuit cut and two different stickers or a circuit cut, a sticker alpha and a stamp alpha... just any combination of three different types of alphabet. And for us digi folks it would be just three different types of alphas that you can get pre-made, like those that come in a kit. I wasn't really thinking just differnt fonts, but I guess that would work too.

I hope that didn't confuse everyone further

That is perfect. I'm bad at using alphas so this will be a real "challenge" for me.

Does this count? 3 types of lettering (2 alphas and a font - well, and an element for a letter?)?

I'd love to do this as well! I'll try really hard to get to it maybe tomorrow night, but I'm not sure if it will be possible.

I think extending it is a great idea. What about making it go till May 8th?

Yay, thanks for extending it! I'll try to get one done this weekend. If I do a two-page layout do I enter the whole thing or just one page?

I am not entirely sure, but I would think the whole thing would be fine.

Oooo! Love the pages you girls have entered!

Gwen -- nice and simple and clean and neat!
Katie -- the theme on that one came together soooo well! It just looks like it all fits together perfectly!
Ashley -- that page is super cute!
