Anyone know how to use templates in Photoshop? I have some cool ones downloaded but can't figure out how to use them. TIA for anyone who can create or link me to a good tutorial! I would look on youtube myself, but it's blocked here at work and I never have time to search at home...

    Carrie-

I use Photoshop elements... and I learned by going to youtube and searched how to do it. I am a very visual learner so it helped a great deal for me! Maybe you could find something on there to help you??? Let me know if you're unable to find something and i'll try to help you out.

    Try this tutorial:

    Or this one (video):

You put what you want in that space (photo, or paper strip or whatever the element is that you want to 'fill') in the layer above the space for it. Press ALT on the keyboard and hover between the lines between the layers in the layers pallette, it'll come up with a different cursor. Click, and it'll be 'clipped'. If you need screen shots or the other tutorials don't help, let me know. Warning - templates are addicting once you start!
