There's a reason why I am a scrapbooker and not a seamstress

Note to self: Don't run your finger through the sewing machine. Twice. Lol

So I have been majorly slacking on the scrapping lately! For a few weeks I was just super busy with Halloween and traveling and whatnot. Now we have been home, but I needed a last minute gift for a baby shower for a friend so I am throwing together a quilt. That should be finished tonight (provided I can manage to keep my fingers away from the darn needle!!!), so hopefully I will be able to get a LO put together at some point this weekend. I've really got the itch! I also have some LOs from a crop almost a month ago that I don't think I ever posted pics of! If I get a chance tomorrow I will try to remember to post them. I'm not sure exactly the point of my post, but I just wanted to pop in and say hi! :wavehello: Sorry I haven't been around to post much!

Eh, as long as you don't get blood on the quilt, I'd say whatever you turn out is a success. Smile

Can't wait to see the quilt and what you've scrapped.

I got a bandaid on it quickly! lol. Not really even sure what happened? I mean, I wouldnt' think your finger could get into the actual needle part. So maybe it just got cut from the presser foot coming down on it so hard? I don't know. Anyway, it hurts!

I only got the binding halfway done last night. Looks like I'll be finishing it up tonight after the kids are in bed. I started this early enough that I thought I'd be done in plenty of time for the shower, but somehow I always manage to stretch things right until the deadline. I will definitely post a pic, though!

Ouch. I don't think me and a sewing machine would go good together. I have a tough enough time with knives and scissors. Lol
