Note to self: Don't run your finger through the sewing machine. Twice.

So I have been majorly slacking on the scrapping lately! For a few weeks I was just super busy with Halloween and traveling and whatnot. Now we have been home, but I needed a last minute gift for a baby shower for a friend so I am throwing together a quilt. That should be finished tonight (provided I can manage to keep my fingers away from the darn needle!!!), so hopefully I will be able to get a LO put together at some point this weekend. I've really got the itch! I also have some LOs from a crop almost a month ago that I don't think I ever posted pics of! If I get a chance tomorrow I will try to remember to post them. I'm not sure exactly the point of my post, but I just wanted to pop in and say hi! Sorry I haven't been around to post much!

Eh, as long as you don't get blood on the quilt, I'd say whatever you turn out is a success.

Can't wait to see the quilt and what you've scrapped.

ouch!!!! that sucks! I've chopped my finger with my guillotine paper cutter if that makes you feel any better. hope you'll share a picture of the quilt when you're done.

I got a bandaid on it quickly! lol. Not really even sure what happened? I mean, I wouldnt' think your finger could get into the actual needle part. So maybe it just got cut from the presser foot coming down on it so hard? I don't know. Anyway, it hurts!

I only got the binding halfway done last night. Looks like I'll be finishing it up tonight after the kids are in bed. I started this early enough that I thought I'd be done in plenty of time for the shower, but somehow I always manage to stretch things right until the deadline. I will definitely post a pic, though!

Ouch. I don't think me and a sewing machine would go good together. I have a tough enough time with knives and scissors.

Oh no! That really sounds like something I'd do. Ouch! I miss seeing your work, but I understand having your plate too full.
