You have been such an inspiration to me with your pages that I took a note to try to do some myself. You actually inspired me to paint chipboard letters. It was a huge mistake to try to do it with an alert two year old, but it did get done. I just wanted to say thanks for making me think outside the box.
Thanks Your so nice. Speaking of painting chipboard have you ever tried crackle medium? Sounds hard but it is not. You paint the chipboard a base color. THis will be the color you want to show through the cracks, let dry. Then paint on the crackle madium and wait 10 min till it is tacky/dry. Next apply top color and in about 2 min or so the paint will start to crackle. I will post ex. pics this afternoon
Here are the pics. I did it with green as my base color just so it would show up good on here. It did not turn out as I wanted but you still get the idea.
Oh and a garden door would be a great idea!
First paint a base coat... let dry
Then paint on crackle medium... let dry, this takes about 10 min.
Last paint you top color trying to only use one coat. The base color will come through as soon as it is dry.
Looks WAY better in another color.
