Hey! Just thought I'd post a little tip on buying cardstock in 8.5x11. (especially good for card makers) I never buy white or black cardstock at craft stores. I buy these packages of 150 sheets for only $5.88 at Walmart...which equals 300 cards....which comes out to about .02 cents a card! And the cardstock is actually thicker than the stuff you buy at craft stores. Plus I scrapbook mostly in 8.5x11, so it saves me lots of $$.
I didn't think to take pics a long time ago when I bought it, so the wrapping is torn, but you get the idea right?
it's even acid free
This is not found in the scrapbooking aisle...it's near the office supplies. I wasn't sure if you guys already knew about this, but since I'm doing a card class today I wanted to let you know.

that's what I use too. I had some at school and brought it home b/c I was out of white here and I've been using it ever since. It's heavier and the white is even brighter to me. Perfect for cards.
You can get larger packs at office supply stores too. That's a great tip Charys- I never thought to share that one.
Wow!! What a great idea! Doesn't this apply for colored cardstock of the same? I've never seen black..but I need some and now I know where to look? What a great tip and I can't tell you how excited I am about tip of the day!! Woot Woot!!
