Tips for using stamps?

So I'm attempting to do DS's birthday invites again this year. After last years fiasco of going way overboard DH asked me to tone it down for my own sanitly ROFL So I bought white pre-fold cards and some baseball clear stamps (its baseball theme) I figured it would be easy enough. I got all of the envelopes done and even colored them in with stamp markers but now that I'm on to the actual invites i'm having all kinds of trouble. The biggest problem is that it seems like the ink is never going to dry. Is it the difference in the paper? Or am I using the wrong type of ink? Would it be easier to just stamp a piece of colored paper and use it as an accent? Aghhhhh it would have been easier to go crazy with my original idea Wink

Not sure what kind of paper the blank cards are made of...but you could always stamp on colored cardstock like you mentioned or they make special ink that dries on even glass (I forget the name...people on the cricut boards talk about it). Sounds expensive though Lol

I find that when I use pigment ink on certain papers, it NEVER dries. ugh.

what kind of ink are you using?

It's pigment ink Sad I set them out 2 days ago on my desk and have been too busy to get back to them so I'm hoping that they will be good to go by tomorrow.
