If you have wanted to try digital scrapbooking, I suggest giving it a try, it's really fun and I like how easy elements is to navigate around in. You will need to create an account at the adobe site, but it's worth it!
wow! Can you use other freebies with it or only the stuff in the software trial package? And can you save them on your putor and print them?
yes it is fully functional. Photo shop is a great program. If your budget is limited get a copy of any of the Photoshop Elements versions..... the Photoshop Creative Suite will put a dent in most budgets but their Elements series are pretty good for the average digi scrapper.
(ps you can get full versions for free on many peer to peer file sharing networks like ares/sourceforge, bittorrent and limewire)
Thanks for posting this! I just popped on here to post and ask if anyone had suggestions for free digital software to try it out with. I didn't want to go buy some software if I'm not going to use it, so I thought I 'd try it out first. This is perfect! Of course, I haven't used it yet, I may be singing a different tune later, huh?
when you are going to try photoshop take the time to figure out layers.... they can be your best friend and oh so frustrating until you figure out the basics.
Think of everyhting as sitting on a transparency. You can flip them over, rotate them, resize and recolour. Moving them up and down in the "pile" is one of the first things you should learn.
Above all have fun! Photoshop is a great program but I know it can be overwhelming at times too.
