Trying to figure out how to use a ton of shots

Ok so Brooklynn got a new wooden play structure this spring. Well I have so many great pics of the day. I can't narrow it down to just a 2 page layout. Would it be weird to have a four page layout? I have pics of her helping the guys build it, pics of her and her sister playing in the box it came in, pics of her sliding on the slide board before it is ever attached to the structure, pics of her being bored and tired of waiting, and pics of it all done and her plaing on it. Holy cow!! I tood a lot of pics that day. What would you do????

I have done a four page LO and even a six page LO when I had a lot of stuff I wanted to include. Here is an old one of mine where you fold the one page out to reveal the other pages:

You could also do a page with a bunch of smaller pics like that beach LO that Gwen just did. I always mean to do a page with some smaller pictures like that and yet I never remember to have any pictures developed in smaller sizes. Hold on and let me see if I can find a link to the LO I'm talking about...

I'd group them the same way you just said, and do 2 page or 1 page layouts on each 'part' of it.

I was thinking kinda what Trina said. Do a page on different parts of the day....a LO for the set-up, playing with the box, and then actually playing with the finished product. Smile

Glad you asked this question, cause I'm getting ready to be in the same boat. I am up to our first vacay to Florida and don't want to do a separate album, so will do a bunch of different views and pages on that. GL

Katie, I actually have that LO in my scraplift folder! LOL

Thanks everyone, I've decided to do a 6 page LO the first two pages will be titled "The Build" the second 2 will be "the wait" and the last 2 will be "The End" I worked on them until midnight lastnight!! Hopefully I can finish today, but I have an appointment with the orthodontist to tighten my braces today so we'll see how I feel after that! LOl

Good. I think multiple page is great. I've done multiple pages on several occasions. Recently I put about 16 pictures on one page too, so it really depends on how much of your album you want to devote to a topic.

I'm trying to figure out how to explain it best...hmmm...it's kind of confusing even to me and I've already made them, lol. I use the Creative Memories pages, and they have this little border thing on them that is kind of cardboardish. You bend the cardboard thingy inward on one page and then use two-sided tape to attach that cardboard thingy to the cardboard thingy of another page. Haha! I just re-read that and I don't think it makes any sense! I don't know how else to explain it, though! I got the idea from my aunt and both times I have made a LO like that I had to ask her to show me again how to do it. Lol

I've done one four page layout (and a few three page layouts) - they sell neat fold out pages that you can put in your scrapbook. I gotta get to bed, but if someone needs me to find a link to what I'm talking about, I can do that tomorrow.

I think multi pages layouts for big events are great. I can't wait to see what you did!

If you could locate it for me, I would really appreciate it!! In the meantime, I'll try to google it and see what I come up with....
