ultrasound LO's

I'm trying to keep up with the new baby's scrapbook... so i went ahead and scrapped some of the u/s pics i've gotten so far. (i get another u/s at 36 weeks... that means ANOTHER page!) Ahh!! Anyways... here you go. They are templates, but i've changed them around, messed with different embellishments and added my own personal taste to it.

Question for digi scrappers... i tried to change the colors of the pushpins in the 2nd LO... but I can't seem to figure it out! Can anyone help me? (if i can't do it, i'm going to take them out completely) - i use PSE 6.

Without further ado...

Great pages! You've caught onto this digital thing really quickly!

I don't use PSE so I can't really help with changing the color of the pushpins, but I don't think you really need to. Smile

Great pages!

I'm not sure how to change the colour in PSE but I'm sure one of the other ladies will know

Those are wonderful LOs!!! I think with the push--pins, you'd need to find push-pins in the color you want in order to chage their color.

Can you select the push pins with the magic wand?

Lol @ Ash! Wink

Those are perfect! I simply adore both of them! The envelope is such a cute idea, and one that can be used with paper, so I need to remember that!

Personally- I think the pins look just fine. I don't think you need to change them!

first, I have to say, that's great that you've gotten so many peeks at your baby. I always yearned for more ultrasounds when I was pregnant. Lol Great job getting those pages done. I don't have PS so I can't help with the color change (if you used Picture It, I could talk you through it )

I've had and extra 3 ultrasounds done only because I had spotting on 3 different occassions - so they like to look in there and make sure everything is fine. (Other wise, I would have only gotten the one at 13 weeks to test for Down's and then the regular one at 20 weeks). As far as PSE goes.... I never figured it out, but I remembered I had stickers of pushpins, so I took pictures of them, and made .png files and inserted them that way! (I just learned how to make my own .png files yesterday!)

Very ingenious to make your own elements!!! Smile

Here's how color changing works in PS, it should be similar in PSE:
Make sure the color you want it to be changed to is the Foreground (or background).
Ctrl+click on THUMBNAIL of the layer you want to change in the LAYERS pallette. You'll see the marching ants going around your element.
Click on the icon under the layer's pallette that looks like a circle, half black and half white - this should bring up the Hue/Saturation box.
Click on "Colorize" (make sure the checkmark is in the box), you'll see the element change. If it's not quite right, move the sliders back and forth til you get the color you want.

I HTH! If it doesn't, let me know and I'll try to do some screen shots Smile

I'll have to give that a try later. Even though I already inserted my own pushpins, it will be nice to know how to do it in the future if I wanted to change a color to an element on a template. I'll let you know if it works. (don't get your hopes though, i'm still in the VERY early learning stages) Wink
