valentines ideas

I want to make DS a t-shirt for valentines day, and I wanted to know if anyone has any ideas for phrases/graphics that won't be too girly. He is only 2 so it doesn't have to be "manly" necessarily, but I don't want it to be super feminine looking.

I was most likely going to do a freezer paper tee, using my cricut to cut the stencil and phrase. So a short phrase would be best (I know, I am asking a lot tonight )

All I have so far is "Heartbreaker" with a picture of a heart...
I will keep brainstorming and looking around for inspo in the meantime!

Does he have a favorite character or is really into trucks or planes or something like that that you could play off of for words?

well he likes trains and Diego... I thought about doing a pic of a dump truck with hearts in the back of it, but that might be complicated.

For his bday I am doing trains, and I was going to make him a "choo choo, I'm two" shirt for that (I know it's cheesy, but he's two, so who cares )

I just looked at all my cricut carts, and I have an owl (could do "whooo loves ya?") and a bumble bee (could do "Bee mine")

if you have a whale you could do 'whale you be mine?' I saw that in a magazine yesterday. I am going to do some valentine cards with that on it. I thought it was cute.

Before I read the responses I was going to say "whoo loves you", but "whale you be mine" is super cute too!!!

All cute ideas! I like the Whooo loves you - so cute!

But I'm curious about this process! Do you cut fabric with your cricut or am I being totally lame thinking that? Haha.

You cut freezer paper on your cricut and use the negative image (the outline) and the inner pieces as a stencil. Then you iron on the freezer paper to the tshirt and use fabric paint to paint the design on. I think you can also use contact paper, but I haven't tried it yet. If you search "freezer paper t-shirt" on you tube, you will probably find a video tutorial.

There are ways to cut fabric with the cricut, but that is too complicated for me at this point Lol you have to attach some kind of backing to it before cutting it, etc. etc.
