VC Challenge #5 "Mini"

I wanted to post yet one more challenge to get our juices flowing. For this one, I want to see "mini". It could be mini pics used in addition to regular-sized pics, mini embellishments, mini something, but the focus on the layout has to be mini/small.

Layout needs to be posted here by Monday at midnight to be included in a drawing for a prize.

Biggrin Happy Scrapping!

I was wanting to include some memories from our honeymoon that we still laugh/talk about. Most of them I don't have pics of so I wasn't quite sure how to make them fit in the album. I got an idea when I read this challenge.

The squares on the page are 1 inch. The buttons drove me bonkers trying to get them glued b/c they are so small. I took a close up but I promise they are teeny!!
Quotes: It's surprising how much memory is built around things unnoticed at the time.
Memory is a way of holding on to the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose.
We do not remember days; we remember moments.

awesome!!! That rocks!

I am stumped on this one...I was going to use mini photos of our daycare kids and do a laout I can put on the wall in the playroom...especially cuz our centre is called MINI Marvels lol. But then I wouldn't be able to share faces and names on here anyway so that would be pointless for the challenge lol

I hope this qualifies. I used the wallet sized pictures from Karl's 18 mo./Christmas professional pictures. I was going to use this idea (one of those fabric/ribbon photo holders) for the busy challenge, but it was going to be too busy.

Let me know if it's not mini enough.

I'm stumped!!! Every time I start I get too 'big' ... gonna keep trying though - love the ones that have already been done.

That counts for sure Shannon. Cute design. And you even used mini-flowers. Wink

Trina, you rock mini! LOL! I'm sure you'll come up with something amazing.

Now that's adorable mini! I love those Michelle! Your reference to mini with the scissors was a great idea. I could never figure out how to photograph mini cards.

Okay, here's my mini. Mini subject and mini pictures. Smile

I'm not sure I love the page. I think it is mostly the frames I had to pick from -- it's tough to find circular frames. But it's the first thing I've gotten accomplished and I'm glad to have at least participated in one challenge!

Beth, that is so pretty. I have to say, those delicate "wire" frames are my favorite part!

Beckie, ok that's just too cool. Love the 07 made out of pics!

I LOVE the page with all the little memories in the squares. So cool!

What a neat idea to make the 07 from pictures.

I really like the wire looking frames.

I also like how you took the bulletin board look and made a page, neat idea!

I have a hard time with regular cards...not sure I would attempt mini's. They look great!

You ladies rock

Aja, that is sooo cool! I'd have never thought to use that many brads, but the effect is so cool. and the two different photos with your titles is great.

I made two "mini" pages. I couldn't pick between my two ideas, so I just did them both. Lol

Journaling strips read "One little girl, one tiny kiss. We will always treasure special moments like this!"

The quote on here says "If you want to leave your footprints in the sands of time, make sure you are wearing boots!" I kind of wanted to add "Little boy, big plans" somewhere, but I haven't figured out where to put it yet. I like how the page is so simple because that is not really my usual style. I can't figure out how to add that without making it look like I just stuck it on there. :shrug:I love how the little footprints turned out, though! Smile

My hubby asked me to post the card he made me today.
He copied my ring. Smile

Katie, both of your pages rock! Man, you guys are really making me want to be a little more creative with brads. I LOVE the way you used them in that first layout. And the simple design of the second is perfect.

Stephanie, why not? That's so cute! And it's a mini-scrapbook page after all!

Michelle, you've got a keeper there! I love that he makes you homemade cards.

I love these pages! I have so many mini things that I always forget to use. If I had been able to crop the last couple of days, I definitely would have added a layout here. Smile
