VC Challenge #9 - Use a Lot...

Use a lot of papers and elements on your layout. You have a choice on how many of what, but I would like to see 10 different items on your page. It could be 9 papers and 1 element, 5 and 5, or 1 paper and 15 elements as long as there are at least 10 things (no including photos or journaling) on your single page.

Drawing will be for a gift certificate.

what if we use the same element twice? does that still count as another element? Blum 3 just wondering.

I was going to ask the same as Jeanette - if you use 9 strips of the same paper and 1 element? Smile

Nope, 9 different things!

Here is my example (just works out that this was for the scraplift challenge.)

So if you used 10 different colored letters would that count? Or two photo corners but different count as two?

I think all her stars count as 1, her button as 2, her robin 3, dragonfly 4, letters of the same fount 5, blue 6, red on button 7, blue bow 8, red paper 9 and start with the white under it 10. She did not count the colored letters or stars separately.

Lol You ladies are so funny. The idea is to use a lot of stuff. So I'm not really counting any text, just counted my title as 1. Yes, all my stars were actually counted as 1 too, partly because they were one element to begin with.
I'd count 13 on my layout:
3 papers
1 stars
1 title
1 spade
1 other garden tool
1 button
1 rick rack
1 folded ribbon
1 yellow star
1 dragonfly
1 suspender buckle

Well here is mine. I like to use alot of elements usually so it was no problem for me Blum 3

1. Tree, 2. grass, 3. little leaves/grass thing with hearts, 4. butterfly, 5. clover thingy with heart, 6. cloud, 7. sun, 8. ladybug with flower, 9. background paper, 10. papers used to matte photos (does that count as 2? or at all?), and Title, not sure if that counts but I should have 10 on here right?.... Anyways... yeah..if it doesn't qualify let me know. Smile i'll take it down.

Here's my try ...

2 different papers
Frame
Alpha
Hearts (all 5 of them)
3 different house elements
Ribbon
Swirl
Flower

That's 11! I wasn't going to put the swirl or flower, but added them to get the 10 lol - and I like how it turned out!

Ok, this challenge is easier than I thought... I did this for the primary color challenge, but since it's one I'm hosting I'm not gonna win, so I thought I'd enter it here (if that's ok)

6 papers
Heart swirl thing
frame
dyno tape
file folder tab
border

That's 11 again! Smile

I love that this one came together so fast. Oh and those are real paint chips from walmart. They are free so I thought what the heck I would live on the edge LOL

Austin! WTG! So cute! You mixture of letters in your title is good.

Tia! Wow! This rocks. So love your use of textures, ribbon!, butterflies, etc.

Trina, I thought that layout was ADORABLE when I saw it on the primary color thread. I want to lift the little squares like that.

Let me know if this doesn't work. I wasn't sure how to count everything.

1 stitching, 2 hearts, 1 frame, 3 papers (strips), 2 ribbons, 1 tag, 1 hearts w/pin, 1 brackets, equals 11 elements/papers. Is it okay?

Lol Actually, their Grammy and Grampy were watching them yesterday while I scrapbooked! It was a wonderful uninterrupted day to work, but I missed them so much! I always feel funny when I go to a crop (maybe 4 or 5 times a year?) because I am ALWAYS with my kids, unless I make a quick grocery run after DH gets home or something like that. I'm usually not away for more than an hour or two a week, so a whole evening and an entire day is crazy!

Here is mine! This was a fun one! 1 frame, 1 flower, 2 brown buttons, 1 journal tag, 6 strips of paper, and 2 pieces of ric-rak.

Journaling says: At Grandma's 60th birthday party, you had chocolate pudding for desert. As you were eating you got some on your nose so we dubbed you "Brown Noser"!
