Share all your LO's you complete here on this thread! Can't wait to see them all! I guess I'll go first! LOL
Does the orange flower look ok? Do you get the meaning behind it?
I get it... something beautiful in the middle of the gray...
That is a great layout!!! I love the one orange flower. so striking!!!! That is on my save list.
I love it too!!! And totally get it!
Aja - I love it! what a clever way to make something stand out.
okay, 7 hours (or so) after I started it, my page. Totally scraplifted from a layout in Scrapbooks, Etc. The main page is orange, looks reddish in the photo - the photo does not do it justice at all. Should have used my DSLR to take the picture of the page. I'm really happy with how this came out! Andrew asked me what "unmanageable" meant after he saw it.
Too cute about Andrew asking what Unmanageable meant. Hehe! That's a fantastic page!! That stitching is so cool along with your design. The circle going into the photo is my favorite.
Here's the page I just finished. I was REALLY trying to make it into the BINGO challenge, but it was too hard. So I gave up.
nice work ladies!
Aja, I love that spread. I just can't get my pages to be so simple they are beautiful...you have a great eye!
Beautiful LOs, ladies! I feel like I'm being productive through you guys.
I managed to get the LO redone that I thought was too busy.
I love the story of the wrap. That is really special. Isn't it amazing the friendships we can build online?

That looks great and I LOVE the journaling you included!
I was going to post something very similar. I really love that LO and the story.
I know I should be sleeping, but you girls were right. This is so addictive. I've posted my Waiting LO in the bingo challenge already, but I just put these two together. I think the second LO in the first set is missing something. A title maybe? Then the 2 grandmother and grandfather pages. My parents first, and then DSO's parents. Oh, I'm also adicted to ribbon.
beautiful lo's ladies....absolutely gorgeous
The quote on the last grandfather layout is the best!! I will have to go back and copy that on one of my layouts. Great work!
I love the "all wrapped up" layout. Perfect.
Laura, look at all those pages. Way to go!
Here is a page, I was inspired to do a layout about her hair:
Here is another page today.
Here are a couple more. I love the colors on these. Summery and fun.
Stephanie, you are on a roll! I think that hair page is one of my favorites ever!!! So sweet! The colors and design are so pretty too.
And I LOVE the kids holding hands in the Friends LO. really cute!
so as i put in the chat thread i haven't gotten any layouts done per say. But I've been running behind on making some gifts for family and friends (since I cut a 4cm gash in my left pointer finger about a month ago). So I decided to work on 2 altered cigar boxes and 4 altered big clothespins.
I have the 2 altered cigar boxes 95% done (still need to do some minor touch ups on paint and cover with modge podge all over). I think I'm going to do some inking or other detail work on them, not sure what yet though. They are for my SILs, here are pics (any c/c is appreciated)
and these are two altered clothespins I did. I think these are completely finished. I think the blue one I will be giving to my mom not sure about the red/pink one yet.
I'll try and post pics of the other 2 as I get more done on them they are 85% finished though.
I've never used Modge Podge before but after this I can tell I will be using it alot more. This altering thing is alot of fun, now I just hope I stay on this scrapping roll so I can get more of ds' scrapbook done, our wedding scrapbook, cards, more gifts etc.
Sorry if pics are huge for some reason I can't get them to resize in photobucket.
Brittany! YAY! :yahoo:I am glad to see your work! you made some really beautiful gifts. The butterfly clothespin is my favorite! So sweet!!
Here are my altered cards:
Inked, stamped, and added some bling. I did a few of these.
Added phrase and ric-rak. Also have since fixed the wandering bling dot over the second i
Did a little ribbon stitching, added some cardstock, a double matted phrase and a few punches
Covered a photo insert space with a fabric flower and a brad
Filled in a photo insert space with cardstock and plastic word
I love seeing what everyone is doing!
Carrie, love the story of the wrap!!!!! My neighbor used a wrap, and I thought it was cool. But I never bought one.
Laura - great new baby pages! I love how each grandparent has a page, what a great idea!
Stephanie - it's about time you did an Andrea hair layout! Love the pool ones too. You sure have been busy!
Brittany - love the boxes and clothespins! very cool! I hear ya on the Modge Podge - a couple of Christmases ago, I made all sorts of altered gifts for family and friends with it.
Nancy - wow, those cards are fantastic! LOVE LOVE LOVE the B&W cards, gonna have to find some paper like your background paper, I dig it!
If I missed anyone in my replies, I'm sorry. So sleepy!
Nancy, I love your cards! My two favorites are the first one and last one. Where did you find that plastic word "love"? It's sooo perfect for that card!
I love all the altered project, way to go!
Here is my latest page tonight, not much to it, but happy to be getting all these done:
Now I need to go work on invites.
Thanks! The first one was from a pack of note cards I had picked up from target to do a friends shower invites. I had a few left over so I decided to add a little personal touch. As far as the words, if I'm not mistaken, I picked them up out of the first scrapbooking train.
I am so jealous of everyone getting things done!
Beautiful work, ladies!
A couple more cards:
I went on a card making spree tonight. I finished the swap cards and these 5.
I LOVE these two cards. I used a piece of green paper that I got from the scrapbooking Train that had swirls and embossed texture for the body of the bird. Then used pink paper for the wing. They are so simple, yet I finally have a favorite use for this stamp.
And here is another card using that stamp that I don't like nearly as well.
And I totally lifted this idea from a card I saw on Two Peas a while back:
(The flowers are what caught my eye...fun and easy to do with just circles.)
I cut this arrow out a year ago when I was working on Kayson's 1st year album and never threw it away. I was sick of seeing it in my stack of scraps, so I made a boy's birthday card. Now I'm glad I never threw it out.
Love your cards Charys! You always have such great stamps. I love the ideas you used in the flower and birthday cards. So neat!
I can't believe how much ya'll have gotten done. I am in awe! Those keepsake boxes are soooo beautiful and evreyone's LO are so creative. My camera is out of battery and I ahven't hooked up my scanner yet so I will have to post my LO later.
Cute cards Nancy!
Here is the invites I worked on last night (address blotted out with the white)
That's cool Stephanie! I wish our neighborhood did things like that. I love the little house.
Our neighborhood only does it because I do it. I did the first one just after I moved in last year. They all love it, but no one else does the work to get it going.
 i know what you mean!
I am so jealous of everyone getting things done! Beautiful work, ladies!
Nancy & Charys - great cards!!!!!!
Stephanie - fun invite! our neighborhood does stuff like that too, one of our neighbors is really great at planning them like you.
Here's the digi page I just finished. My dad took the big kids fishing on Friday, they loved it!
Off to bed for me!!!
That is a great page. The circle lettering on the title make it perfect for a fishing page. The kids looked like they had a great day with their grandpa. LOVE pages like that.
Good night Gwen!
OK, before I go off I will share my two pages. The first was one I had just about finished previously, I just made so changes and glued it down. The second took me a little while trying to figure out how to get a title without my usual cut outs. I took someones advice and just wrote it out, added some chalk to the edges to give it that aged look. Also, the dark on the edges of the mattes for the pictures on both pages I did by burning the edges of the paper. You really have to be creative when all your gadgets and supplies are gone, LOL. BTW, most of this book is made from pictures and a lot of brochures and stuff collected on the trip (these pages have parts cut out from the brochure, cruise schedule, and tickets).
You have such a neat style. You burned the edges of the paper? That's so cool and the effect is perfect. Great layouts!
That burned effect is so cool. I would be terrified my work would go up in flames.
A few more cards. Most of the embellishments on these were cut out of or off of gift bags I received at my baby shower for T.J.. I've kept them for so long and now I am happy to have used them.
I think that's all I've got energy for.
MinaAriel, I ahve never thought of using bits from gift bags and other cards like that. They all look so expensive and gorgeous.
I never thought of making my own cards before but you all have got me really thinking outside the box. Thanks.
That ahoy little boy card is so darling!! I can't wait to lift it. You did fantastic on more cards Nancy!

Glad to hear I am not the only one who saved those bags! My DH insists I'm nuts for keeping them, but I had planned on using them to scrapbook with as well. I have yet to do so but I will!
