And sent in our info to an Adoption agency. They have a mandatory weekend of adoption classes for all adoptive parents in January that we are planning on going to, and then after that we will see if we are still interested in going that route. It is a lot of money (about $12,000), and half of it has to be paid before birth parents will be given any of your information at all - for the application fee and homestudy. There is of course no guarantee but it's at least a start. Their average wait for people who do get placed with a baby is 2 years, but we could continue to try getting pregnant in the meantime. We thought that would be a better option than trying for another year or two and then going about the adoption process and having the wait added on top of that.
