Wednesday Tip of the Day: Lined Paper

Good (early) morning everyone! I had to get up and make 2 dozen cinnamon rolls and breakfast casserole baked for a little catering job this morning. I just put them in the oven, so thought I'd post our tip early. Smile

I use this technique a lot...it's kindof cheating, but hey, it works. This is how you create the notebook paper look on cardstock. I started with an 8x8 piece in this case. I opened Word and made sure to change my paper size to 8x8.

Then I typed lines across my page (shift + dash), selected brown as the font color, then hit print.

I made a tan/brown and white/blue one.

I used the tan one last night in a layout. The cut was from Graphically Speaking (the file folder tab).

looks great!!!

for my lined paper for your card class, I found a journaling tab I liked from my digi collection (it was graph paper-like) and printed it on cardstock.

Brilliant. I'm going to print a bunch up at work and take it home with me.

That's great Charys! I'll have to do that. Also, I bought a border punch at Michael's that looks like torn out paper from a spiral notebook (like the two little notches you have). That would be great for the notebook paper.

I'm really digging these tips!

You're too sweet Zene! Though every one of you have just as much creativity! We all have different styles though, and that's what makes scrapbooking so unique and indivualized. (I just probably have less of a life than some of you, so I have more time to scrap...lol...)
