Default Wednesday's TIP (why is it always the letter "e"??)

Ok, first I have to say I LOVE the sewing machine. Considering I've never used one before and am a complete rock when it comes to sewing, I learned this one in 5 minutes. Perfect for sewing dummies like me. This is the first thing I stitched. (yeah, it's a little crooked...like I say, I'm a rock...gotta practice more.)

but what's the TIP you say?

See the "e's" on there? And the letter "a"??? The "e's" were once "c's" and the "a" was a "v". I took a black pen and made lines to create the letters I needed. I always run out of the letter e first in any letter pack. Look closely and you can see. Just a way to get more use of of letter packs.

Got to get my sewing machine out!! And I love to sew. Can't figure out why I still haven't used it on a page.

Great tip Charys! I've done the e thing before but never thought about the V. TFS!

Yay for sewing. I have been thinking of asking for one on freecycle cause I loved the stitched look on pages. But great tip. I sometimes use the little L's for I's. Because whether its I or l on a page it doesn't really matter and you can't tell the difference.

good tip on the letters. I should use my sewing machine for stitching. I have only done it once, and i did it by hand!

Good tip. I would have never guessed. Oh, and on the stitching, I think it looks great! I would love to try, but I don't have the machine, or the time.
