do you find time to scrapbook every week? if so, how do you do it?

do you have piles of pictures waiting for you to spend time with? if so, how many layouts do you estimate you have waiting for you to work on? if you don't have the piles, how do you plan what you're going to work on?

I'd like to see a picture of you cropping in action.

    YAY...it's my turn!!

    1. What's one thing that you wish you could improve on in your scrapbooking? I would love to improve my journaling and time-management. I have the hardest time coming up with the right words to journal

    2. I would like to see your first ever layout. I'll take pics tomorrow.

    3. Where is your favorite place to shop for scrapbooking supplies? WALMART , Hobby Lobby and Scrapbook University in San Angelo, TX.

who inspired you to start scrapbooking and have you inspired anyone to start? My son Kayson inspired me. I was pregnant and went to Hobby Lobby and saw all this wonderful scrapbooking stuff and bought some before he was even born. LOL. Yes, I've inpsired a few online friends and "real life" friends to scrap. Maybe even my twin...she wants to start a wedding album after she gets married.

what do you want to learn to do better? Taking my pages to a new level of creativity. I tend to stick to the same basic LO's and I'd like to learn how to put more layers on a page, etc.

do you find time to scrapbook every week? if so, how do you do it? I scrap about once every two weeks. Usually with a little group of 3-4 of my girlfriends. We go to a local church and use their fellowship hall. It's so nice because we each have a large table to work from (my house is teeny tiny) and we can get a lot accomplished in one day. I don't have to worry about putting it all up and taking it out again. And if I get the rare chance, I'll scrap on weekends occasionally.

do you have piles of pictures waiting for you to spend time with? if so, how many layouts do you estimate you have waiting for you to work on? if you don't have the piles, how do you plan what you're going to work on? I actually don't have piles of photos. I'm pretty caught up on Kayson's scrapbook, because I don't scrap every pic I take. Just certain ones I get printed. My planning is basically seeing something that I want to capture for him on a page and snapping a photo. Then turning it into a page. Like my next challenge will be something on shoes.

I'd like to see a picture of you cropping in action. I'll take a pic next time I'm scrapping.

Here is a pic of my first page ever. I actually really like it!! (It's the following ten or so pages I don't like!!)

It is the first page in Kayson's scrapbook. That was the photo I used for his birth announcements, so I thought it was appropriate. He was in the hospital with an IV in his head (which the hat is hiding), and he still managed the sweetest little expression. (Can you tell I'm a wee bit proud of my son?!?) LOL

And here's a pic of me scrapping in action. DH took this of me this morning. I have to put all my supplies on our kitchen table, and take it down when I'm done, so I usually don't get too much finished at home. Ignore the mess and my Saturday morning self. lol.

Yep, that was my shoe page. I stacked it all neatly for the photo....lol.

    1. What kind of albums do you use? A three-ring 12x12 album I Found on Ebay. I like the 3-ring, because it's easy to make it HUGE. LOL

    2. Do you like to scrap digitally or just paper? Just paper for me.

    3. What are 3 scrapbooking tools that you can't scrap without? My paper cutter, my scrapbooking "tabs"--like glue dots, and my bag full of scrap ribbons my MIL gave me. I can usually find inspiration from those or my brads.
