this weeks scrapping

Just thought I'd share. I had time to do a few this week.

The journaling on this, in case you can't read it, says "Jamie, When you were a newborn I read that you would hold onto our hands and fingers out of something called the newborn grasp reflex. It said it would last until you were about 6 months old. This made me sad because I love you holding my hand so much. Now, you are two and freely hold my hand and I love it just as much now! I love you, Jamie!"

The journaling on this one says "Aunt Connie has a dog named Suzy. You have only been around her a couple times a month since you were born, but for some reason you call all dogs (and sheep and cows) Suzy's. You stepped on one of these toys the recently and cried that "The Suzy's hurt your toes!". You are so funny! I love you so much Jamie!"

Journaling says " You sat like this for the whole day mostly! You loved your new train. I am so glad we got it for you."

journaling "Your dad was getting you ready for bed and I heard you say "bird" and your dad said "those are butterflies" You were looking at butterflies on Allie's wall. The next thing I Heard was you saying "yep, --- butterbirds". You are just so cute! "

and one for Allie's book

The journaling says

"Allie, The Bible says in James 1:17 that Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of Heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. You are a gift from the Lord to us. Never ever doubt how much we love you, baby girl. "

This is the one I did for my challenge with the shampoo bottle. It is for Allie's book.

This is the one with for Jamie's of the same day/pics/journaling.

Thanks for looking.

love these. I can't even pick a favorite. your journaling really makes your pages even more special than they already are. I had several smiles reading your stories about Jamie, too cute!!!!

so you have a mixture of 12x12 and 8.5x11 - how do you do your books? I know you've told us in other threads about your methodology, but I don't remember.

I have a 12x12 for Jamie and one for Allie and I have a 8.5x11 for each of them. Then I have one of each for "family".

I recently combined all of my family ones into just general family because I had them split for nephew/sister/cousin's son from back before I had babies of my own and that is just too hard to keep up with now.

that's interesting how you do the different sizes like that. interesting, but neat. Smile and I remember when you combined the family into one, smart move!

I love your style. My fave is the train LO, what a sweet moment you captured. Love the journaling on them all! The Allie one with the Bible verse brought a tear to my eye. Such a sweet message. Great job

I really love these! I can't pick a fave. I love how you add the touches with the white pen and the color combo in the first one is fresh. I also love how you matted the lines in the second one and the photo in Allie's close up.
