    Default Went to Michaels today

I caved and bought some Armour Etch...had no idea how expensive that stuff is...but I am sure it will make a lot of projects that will save me money for gifts. I also used my 40% coupon on it.

I also bought some of the glitter glue from the $1 bin that Kelly mentioned, got some rhinestones and other little goodies from the $1 bin...got a couple things that were in the clearance section...used to be $1 bin, but cost 40 cents...including 2 glass votives that I plan on etching for MIL's bday). Also got a large glass canister for 6 bucks that I want to etch for MIL's bday. Her mom always used to tell SIL "grandma only makes what's good" when SIL would say how yummy stuff was. So I might etch that on the canister...either that or Grammie's treats or something similar. Last thing I grabbed was one of those large wicker baskets. Baskets were 50% off, so it ended up being 2.50...need to contain DS's toys!

I had a giftcard from my friend...didn't know how much it was for. My total was 31.85, and the giftcard was for 30 bucks

I will post pics of etched glass projects once I get around to them (might be a while )

Great finds! I love the idea of "grandma only makes what's good" since she used to say that. That's really cute

SOunds like some great deals. The only thing good that I find in our dollar bins at michaels is some ribbon. Glad you got some great stuff.

So cool that you got all that and only had to pay 1.85! Sounds like you got some really good finds. Can't wait to see pics of the cookie jar. That's going to be cute.

it was 12.99 for a bottle...I don't know how to describe the size and I don't have it in front of me with the number of ounces or anything. Think of a typical prescription pill bottle...a little bigger than that.

I suppose it is well worth it if I will be able to make a bunch of homemade things rather than buy expensive gifts. Plus, I got to use my coupon on it

Wow!!! That is kinda pricey! But you did find some other great things. I too got a Michaels GC for x-mas for 25.00, and I'm itching to use it. Already have a list made. I don't normally find any great things in the dollar section of mine..hmmmm
