So I am getting ready to print pages for my first scrapbook. I am thinking this will be great, then start to wonder if I should also be making a book for my daughter or will I just give her my books someday? I scrap all of our vacations, holiday's, etc.
What do you all do. Do you make books for yourself and then another for your child to have? Are their differences in the books?
I make one book, and will share later on. i have seperate scrapbooks for each child, and family/vacations, the children will get their scrapbook(s) as a gift when they get married. As far as the family/vacation album, i'll hang onto those until I die, and then they can sort out what happens to them.
I print my 12x12's on a 12x18 sheet. I put the 12x12 at the top, then 2, 6x6 copies underneath it and cut them afterwards. I give them to the grandparents, but keeping those ones in a 6x6 book for yourself after you give your daughter the book is a good idea too.
If you scrap 12x12, you can do what I do, just keep the copies for you and give your daughter the 12x12 book.
I would just print them once and share once she is older. I really love Trina's idea....but that's not possible with paper.

I make one and some day they can have them. My mom did not scrap but she did albums for me and my brother and then a family one. When we got married we where given our own and she kept the one of us together in it. Example if we went to Disney all the pics of me with mickey went in my book all the ones with my brother when in his, but any family shots or shots of the 2 of us together she put in her book. (oh and this is when you developed 2 of each some some pics of the 2 of us 1 is in my book and one is in his and then a similar but not exactly the same shot is in her family book)
