Wasn't sure how to word this title for my question. Sorry!! I want to make a LO for my niece for her 10th birthday. I've only done a LO as a gift for one other person and that was my DH. I did it as several pics of him and then journaled why we love him. But not sure what "person" to use for my niece. I only have one really good photo of her that is recent and maybe one other halfway decent current one, so two photos at the most, and wonder if I should make it all about her or make it from my point of view. Am I making any sense??? LOL Guess I just wonder does a person want something about them "personally" hanging up in their room/house, whatever??? Appreciate any and all advice.

As in first person, second person or third person right? I would make it from your point of view, if it was me. That sounds like a very nice gift...can't wait to see what you come up with.

what if you made it a page about her -- not only her personality traits, but things she's into right now? Maybe less journaling style, but more of a list of things? Does that make sense?

I know exactly what you mean...lI struggled with this last Christmas when doing a bunch as gifts..in the end I chose to not do any wording...just all decorative. In this case if it were me I would probably find a nice and inspiring quote and write that across the layout and have the rest decorative...for instance, this is one I found lately on google that I'm using in an upcoming one... "A smile is a light in the window of the soul indicating that the heart is at home."
