I have had some spare time have been trying to catch up on Kaden's book, I am just about finished his first year and start a few in his 2nd year book. But I have found if I do more then 2 or 3 pages at a time, they all start to look alike! Where do you get ideals?? I have several magazines, but with a lot of those layout, I feel like you need a "certain" picture or it just takes more time and effort then I am willing to commit!Anyone have a website that they are a fan of?? Maybe a book suggestion?? I just don't want to have my book look so uniform and be able to tell which pages I did at the same time!
I seem to do the same thing. Plus if I really like the way one turns out I have a hard time not doing it over and over again. I usualy go online to some of the scrapbook sites and look through what other people have done. There are even some sites that just give lo sketches without pics or paper so you don't get hung up on that. I will go through my favorites and get back to you with a link.
Here ya go:
This site splits them into the size page you are looking to scrap and then how many pics you want on it.

I save pictures of pages posted here in a scraplift folder that I use sometimes for ideas. And I get Scrapbooks Etc that I also tear pages out of and save for ideas. Most of the time, I just stare at the pictures until an idea comes to me.

Thank you for posting those sites Shelly! I've saved them to my favorites. As for ideas, I usually look at online galleries or even go back to Kayson's first year albums, which puts me in the mood to scrap and gives me little ideas.

I'm a member of this site http://www.susansscrapbookshack.com that's my online home...
I also buy magazines if I flip through them at the store and see something I like.
I generally use layouts in magazines or online that I like. I begin to copy them but I inevitably change it up and make it my own. It usually helps for me to just start messing with it and then I'll accidentally come across something I like. Then again, it usually can take me about 3-4 hours to do a single 2-page layout.
I steal ideas from cricut.com (the message boards). It comes in handy because they use the cricut and will explain how they did the layouts... ebay is another place I steal layouts from (I mean, get good ideas from!) haha
Shelly! Thanks for posting those sites!! those are awesome ideas! I like those because if i like ones that already have pictures in them, i start to copy EXACTLY it and it drives me crazy because i end up spending so much time on it just to make it look perfect!
