that's awesome!!! I've been tempted to join myself (I was also a 7 in high school, and will never be that small again, especially after having 4 kids!) but I just can't see myself making it to the meetings. I have several friends doing WW with GREAT success, so I know you can do it Liz!

You can do it Liz. I am so ready to lose weight after Randy comes. I am tired of looking like I do. I hope you will update us and let us know how it goes!

That's great Liz!! I too plan on joining Weight Watchers in a week or 2 (after my 6 week checkup and when I can eat solids again - I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled on Tuesday)... I'm excited as well... but I will be doing the online version since I will never make those meetings. Let us know on your progress... I too would LOVE to get into a size 12 (I haven't seen that since High school)... we shall see! Good luck!

Good luck Liz. My sister lost 80lbs on WW. I am eating the meals (Trying to lose the last 10lbs from baby) but I don't go to the meetings. It's sounds like great support though!

I think that is great!!! You can do it! I went to WW a few years ago and lost about 20 pounds and even managed to maintain it on my own afterwards for several years. I think actually till I got pg the first time. Well I was always with 5 lbs of the initial 20 lbs loss. Good Luck!!!! It is a great program!

I had my first meeting! I loved it. the speaker is awesome! I was so worried I would get someone boring lol.

So my first goal is 5%...10lbs. My starting weight is 218.4 (ugh! back to full term pregnancy weight!!!) I started eating right and counting points the minute I was out of the meeting! I have a VERY yummy lunch and an awesome dinner... lunch: veggie wrap. Dinner: vinegar and balsamic salad, spinach pizza! mmm!!! I forgot how good for you food tastes! lol I will share my journy with you ladies, if you don't mind. I go to my meeting Sat. @ 9:30am.

Liz- it sounds like you are really pumped up for this!! Your meals sound wonderful!! I'm looking forward to starting the program in the next week or so.... I have a question.. is there a way to tell how many points a food would be if it wasn't listed anywhere? (like if you enter calories, fat grams and all that stuff?) Just curious.....

YAY!! Im excited for you. I like WW, though ive never done it...just followed MIL in her multiple journey's Wink (she's a life time member and only pays if she GAINS weight, but not if she maintains her healthy weight) I think the point system is a great way to do it. Good luck to you! I'd love to hear how your journey goes, KUP!!

Yes, i can do it on the weight watchers website, but I have a monthly pass so i get the eTools for free, i'm not sure how it works when you are only doing WW online.

I am loving the points system...With the amount of points I get, i'm surprosed at how much I'm able to eat. This morning I had a veggie stuffed omlet...which is the same amount of points as just 2 slices of bread! You can eat so much...if you choose the right foods.

Yay! That's great. I wish you all the luck. You've certainly got my support as I'm trying to get down to a healthy weight and just started doing crunches and yoga ball exercising.

Can I just say though that I'm SUPER jealous that you were a 7 in highschool? I never got a super skinny stage. I wore the same size most of middle school, all of highschool, went down a size briefly in college, was back to status quo, and now after three kids am a size up from there. (I certainly LOOK different though... lol)

Im suprised at how many people try to achieve their PP size and HS size. Just makes you wonder if its society, family influences, or what that makes us believe we have to be the same size all our lives. Or maybe Im just trying to rationalize MY new found cookie monster sized waist WinkROFL

LOL i know for me. I was happy at that weight, I had my insecurities, but i felt comfortable. I think it's the comfortableness i'm looking for...whether it be a size 7 or size 12. I just want to be comfortable in my own skin and in the clothes that I want to wear.

What really bothers me is that I have a scar above m belly button so when pants fit me properly, no matter what they look too tight because i have a bulge of fat above the scar. Also my love handles are horrible and my shirts always go in the creases and it makes me uncomfortable.

So to make a short story long...lol...i choose HS weight because that was the last time I was comfortable in my skin...i'm just looking for that comfortableness again.

I was never happy even at a size 3 with my body. With my body type and probably genetics I ALWAYS have a pooch in my belly. It always looks like Im preggo! Ive had so many people ask me if Im pregant, at this point its a common mistake people make. I just carry my fat in my belly. When I look back at pics of how skinny I was, even unhealthyly so, I still thought my "pooch" was awfull! I even had a friend of mine poke at my "fat" and say I needed to do more sit ups when i was a size 3!! I just wish I was a size 4/5 again...but as a size 6/8 I feel like I can eat and thats what matters.

See, for me, given that I didn't change much, highschool size is healthy and obtainable for me. I say size and not weight. I don't expect to even be pre-pregnancy weight. But there is some room for improvement and it would benefit my health to do so. I will NOT be like my friend here in town though and lose 40lbs in one summer. That is insane and not so healthy, even if she likes to claim it was fine because she ate a lot of veggies.
