I tell you, sometimes having 3 kids drains the life out of you. I haven't had a single moment to do anything creative. Too much work to get it all out and then put it back away that same night. I really need a craft area.

BUT!!!!! On Saturday I get to go to the "Christmas in July" card class. It's the only class I pay to go to all year and I look forward to it just about as long. I love it. It has always inspired at least 2 or 3 of the cards that I make each year (and we make 5 while there). I usually will make one exactly the same and the others I modify....

It's so much fun and this year there is a car full of us going which will make it even more fun. The scrapbook store lady is so flippin excited too because my friend and I use to come to crop and shops about once a month and we haven't been able to all year.

So come Saturday I'll finally be able to contribute here again. After that I'll have 2 weeks to go before grandma's party, so I'll have to get those pages finished for her book. Maybe I can convince my hubby to let me go to a crop to get them done. I'll have to think about this.... Biggrin

I'm so excited! Is it Saturday yet?

Oh! And when we got our new microwave yesterday, I got in the mood to organize and rearrange our kitchen countertops for the first time in 7 years! This microwave is smaller and I'm loving it. Anyways, my hubby loved it so much that he caught the bug. (we've been wanting to reduce the stuff around here but haven't gotten to it) So he sorted out our junk closet yesterday and today went through all our files and shelves with mail type things. In doing so, he found 4 brand new stamps- the words joy, rejoice, peace and a Star of David. So yay! Christmas card stamps without having to buy anything this year!!!!!

I went and had a blast. Made my cards slightly different then the examples, but that's me. lol Would have scanned them last night but hubby had an emergency call but wasn't feeling well, so I loaded the kids up and took him. I'll load them this evening. First church, manning a fair booth, and then hubby has to work. He hasn't even had a chance to see my cards yet and he's usually my biggest fan and begging to see them first!

Those are great cards! Very nice use of stamps. I love stamps but unfortunately they are a little pricey for me so I very seldomly buy them. Great inspiration!
