There's a machine - oooh, I'll have to go look.
I just use my tombo (little hand held tape dispenser that is double sided).
Yeah, you run it through this machine and it puts the adhesive on the back.
So, if you had a patch of some sort, a piece of cloth of some kind (like I have an old handkerchief of my grandmother's)...you would run it through the machine and it puts the adhesive on the back so it makes it sort of like a sticker (I guess you could say!)
I love my Xyron, I use it all of the time! I have the smallest one, and I use it for all of my cricut and sizzix cut letters.
