    Default Yipee!

Randall let me pick out two new cartridges for our anniversary! I was in luck b/c Custom Crops is having a summer sale and some cartridges are on sale for $38.99! I ordered Jasmine and Beyond Birthdays. I can't wait to get them in!

I am unemployed after tomorrow. I lost all my kids over the summer, so I am hoping I can make cards and sell them in our small town to make a little bit of money. I don't know how well it'll go, but I am looking forward to giving it a try. Now that I have more cartridges, I can do more! Question for you wonderful ladies- which would you pick, a blank card on the inside, or one with a poem/quote/verse? Thanks ladies!

I would say both, sometimes I want a quick easy card where I just have to sign it, other times I want to write my own message.

How exciting! Sorry about the kiddos - but making cards sounds like more fun anyway. I would also say do some of each - it depends on who its for and how much of a hurry I am in!

I agree with the others. Try out both and go from there! What a great idea to sell them...good luck! I saw in your blog that you weren't going to have daycare kids this summer...maybe God is opening doors for something else! (I think making cards would be more fun anyday.)

yeah for new carts! I saw that sale, was tempted to get Plantin Schoolbook ...

I'd also go with both and see what happens. What a great idea for you to sell them locally, can't wait to hear how that goes.

I hope that He is opening something else for me. I know card making will be tons of fun, I just don't know if I will make enough $. I might have to cut out internet though. I know He will provide. I am leaning on Him and trusting in Him. Thanks Charys!

Oh how exciting! I'm sorry you lost all your kids. Is it because none of the parents work during the summer? like would you get them back come fall? (if you chose to, of course) btw, I live in a small town too and my MIL was recently in the hospital for knee replacement surgery, so I made her a page, framed it and gave it to her as a get well present (I think I posted it here awhile ago) anyways some of the nurses saw it and LOVED it, it was literally passed around the hospital to the different nurses and doctors LOL. Anyways my point is LOL, One lady from the gift shop asked if i did cards too, my MIL told her she didn't know but she could find out and was sure I could, she said she had one lady come to her to sell her cards and she would put a pack together of about 8-10 cards and they sold for 25-30 bucks for the bundle and the lady couldn't keep them in stock! So I guess the point of my whole rambling lol, is to try to market to the local hospital gift shops, or the physical therapy centers. Good luck! Let us know how it goes!
